Welcome to my blog and thanks for checking it out.
I’m an NHS GP, working in London, with a passion for international primary care. I am the current WONCA Vasco da Gama liaison Officer where I sit on the Executive Board for the European branch of the World Organisation of Family Doctors (WONCA). I finished my term as Chair of the RCGP Junior International Committee (JIC) in October 2019 and I am currently studying a part-time Masters in Medical Anthropology. My absolute love is the intersection where culture and medicine meet and I believe that, as family physicians, we are sufficiently embedded in the lives of our patients to see this first-hand.
Thoughts are my own and I write this in my spare time outside my clinical and WONCA work so apologies for all my typos (of which there are many)!
Please feel free to comment or contact me on what you think should be included so that this blog stays relevant!
