Hello all,
I hope everyone is getting into the festive spirit and have been enjoying the pigs-in-blankets and mince pie season.
This week, I’d like to introduce “2GPs in a pod” podcast of Dr Lucy Obolensky. For those of you who have not come across this tour-de-force, she is ex-JIC (education and training team), expedition medic, global health advisor and team medic for Sir David Attenborough’s TV programmes. And that’s just her work life. I totally recommend seeing her talk (you’ll see her name crop up on a lot of expedition medicine events) as she’s a very engaging speaker and all round good egg!
But for now, you’ll have to settle with this taster through this podcast!!
I’ll be taking a mini-break over the Christmas period but have some pretty awesome posts planned for the new year including an interview with my boss in Japan, Professor Ryuki Kassai, who introduced primary care to Japan and Dr Jo Buchanan, president of WONCA Euract (the education working group) where we talk about GP training across Europe!!
Merry Christmas everyone and hope all your 2019 global health and international primary care wishes come true!
